Nikita Japra is the Global Health Advisor in Residence for Cloudera Foundation. Nikita leads program strategy and partnerships at the intersection of public health, data science, and technology. She has more than 15 years of experience building strategies and creating content that moves stakeholders to take action on global health, social justice, and humanitarian issues. Previously, Nikita worked on the strategic development of the Rockefeller Foundation’s digitally enabled community health initiative. She was an inaugural member of the NBC News Health and Medical Unit, where she wrote and produced health and medical coverage broadcast nationally across the U.S. Nikita holds a master’s of public health in population and family health from Columbia University, a master’s in media studies from New School for Public Engagement, and graduate certificates in Media Management and Comparative Effectiveness Outcomes Research (CEOR). She earned her bachelor’s in international relations and writing at Johns Hopkins.
