Khadder’s investment background and strategic expertise will further strengthen the Cloudera Foundation Board’s ability to navigate a rapidly changing future and an uncertain economic climate.
“Kathleen’s intimate knowledge about philanthropies and financial management has already made her an invaluable member of our board,” said Claudia Juech, founding CEO of the Cloudera Foundation and board member. “We are grateful to have someone with such depth of understanding help guide our foundation’s pursuits.”
Before joining Rockefeller in 2015, Kathleen worked in investment banking at J.P. Morgan and advised on strategic initiatives and business development for Clear Channel Communications.
“I am thrilled to join the Cloudera Foundation’s board to help extend the reach and positive social impact that data and technology can enable,” Khadder said. The Cloudera Foundation’s mission is to enable nonprofits around the globe to use data and data analytics to improve people’s lives and protect the planet.

Martinez
Khadder succeeds John Martinez, one of the founding board members of the Cloudera Foundation. Martinez becomes Cloudera’s first emeritus board member. Other current members of the board are Chairman Mike Olson, Natalie Harris and Anne Toth.
“John helped our foundation set its foundation,” Olson said. “He helped us establish our values at the highest level and build a vision that guides the foundation on what meaningful difference we aim to make in the world. We are indebted to John for his dedication and contributions.
“And we are grateful to have Kathleen seamlessly step in and help us guide the foundation for our next exciting chapter,” Olson said.
